Who We Are

The Re-Imagining Age Project is a national initiative co-founded by Diantha D. Schull and Selma Thomas, who have extensive combined experience in museum and library programming, cultural project planning and management, research, publications and new media projects.

Diantha D. Schull, Project Director for The Re-imagining Age Project, is a distinguished leader in the cultural sector, with extensive management and project experience. She has held executive positions at the New York Public Library, New York State Council on the Arts, Library of Congress, French-American Foundation and Libraries for the Future. With broad national and international experience, she advises libraries, museums and foundations on institutional planning, public programming, grantmaking and fund development.

Selma Thomas, Program Director for The Re-imaging Age project, is a nationally recognized authority on museum exhibitions and digital technologies. She is an independent filmmaker with significant experience in planning and preparing major exhibitions that integrate new technologies. Her client list includes such respected institutions as the Smithsonian Institution, the National Museum of American History, the National Gallery of Art, the Chicago History Museum, the Exploratorium, and the Library of Congress. She is a 2009 Smithsonian fellow in museum practice.
