Age in America is a series of public programs on age and aging developed through collaboration between museums and libraries in three communities: Hartford, CT; Stony Brook, NY; and Norfolk, VA. The project is funded by the Institute for Museum and Library Services.
Life Stories is a video series featuring scholars and other specialists discussing the implications of increased longevity on both individuals and society. The series will be available on DVD and online.
Active Wisdom is a discussion series on life transitions, using books and films, developed by Anthropologist Mary Catherine Bateson for use in public libraries and other community settings.
